IR heating system are to be considered as construction products, because they will influence the basic requirements of buildings. There are no harmonized product standards for those products. The producer can then ask for a European Technical Approval from a Technical Assessment Body located in the European Economic Area (European Union, Norway, Lichtenstein and Iceland). It will be the best way to describe the performances of the this product, which will then be CE-marked. With CE-marking construction products can be sold in the EEA.
